SUCCESSFUL PITCHES IN MUMBAI AND HEIDELBERG
The Heidelberg-Indian Students Assosiaction, bluebilities and Z-Nation-Lab hosted a live trans-border pitch competition across India (Mumbai) and Germany (Heidelberg) for startups designing innovations with a social impact, and translation technologies on July 7th.
Through this event, 22 startups in India and Germany got a platform to pitch their ideas to a wide range of experienced entrepreneurs and investors , to seek mentorship from them, to publicize their ideas, to understand the Indian legalities to set-up their enterprises. In addition to networking opportunities, the participants were also able to listen to interesting speeches, e.g. the 70 participants in Heidelberg had the opportunity to meet and listen to Sugandh Rajaram, Consul General of India in Germany. At the same time, the 120 participants to the simultaneous event in Mumbai were able to experience 14 out of the 22 pitching startups on site, while the eight German pitches were broadcast live.
