Measuring Impact of Incubators

Entrepreneurship is taking center stage for accelerating innovation and change on a major scale. For incubators and startups alike the question of how to measure their impact in a meaningful way often leaves many open questions. This webinar aims to address these questions and to shed a light on the key factors that incubators should take into consideration when measuring their impact.

There are many different ways to look at the impact an organizations is making, from job creation, building communication infrastructure, to development of groundbreaking technology. Or in the case of social enterprises, where creating impact often overrules a profit motive, and where measuring impact is a necessary tool to communicate success.

Impact measurement is receiving increasing attention from various funders as a data driven and tech enabled approach to better understanding how well their investments are paying off from a societal viewpoint. With governments realizing the need for entrepreneurial solutions as a driver of social and environmental change, more and more public funders now also require a thorough impact evaluation before investing.

We will give an overview of theoretical concepts for impact measurement and then explore some practical tools to support you in setting up systems to measure impact in a sense making way. We will end the session with an open discussion were we can look at individual needs and give recommendations.

The webinar will take place on 09.06.2021 between 13:00 - 15:00 (IST)
