Head of the CII Germany Office
Lakshmi Lalita Mohan is involved in promotion of industrial cooperation and bilateral relations – trade, foreign direct investments, joint ventures and technical collaborations between India and Germany. Primarily, promoting India as a destination for trade and investments.
Her role as Chief Representative of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) is to also to build strategic partnerships and maintaining relationship with all stakeholders, for CII on behalf of Indian industry. This includes relationships with counterpart organisations and associations within Germany and across EU.
Lakshmi`s role on behalf of CII is also to open & maintain dialogue with scientific and research institutions, universities, academia, skills development bodies and institutions of excellence in quality management and manufacturing.
Lakshmi Lalita Mohan studied German Law in the University of Münster & University of Bonn, Germany. She trained in multinational law firms Linklaters and Osborne Clarke in the areas of Mergers & Acquisition, IT Law, International Law and has assisted the India Desk operations.
Lakshmi Lalita Mohan is Member of the India Business Forum Executive Committee an initiative by the Consulate General of India in Frankfurt.
